Political Action Committees (PACs)
Political action committees allow independent insurance agents to collectively support state and federal candidates who recognize the role our industry plays in protecting communities and small businesses.
Why PACs Matter
Legislative decisions directly impact how independent agencies operate — from licensing and regulation to marketplace competition. PAC participation helps ensure lawmakers hear from and understand independent agents before those decisions are made.
Our Two PACs
IIANPAC – State Level
Supports candidates for the Nebraska Legislature who understand the importance of independent insurance agencies and the communities they serve.
InsurPac – National Level
InsurPac is the federal political action committee of the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America. Nebraska agents have earned the national Eagle Award for InsurPac participation for more than a decade, demonstrating a long-standing commitment to industry advocacy.
